Other Campaigns

The No Hackney High-rise campaign is focused on the London Lane E8 site. However we have enlisted advice and support from other local campaigners that are trying to get their voices heard and some who have failed: namely Open Dalston (who campaigned against the tower-blocks currently being built  in Dalston) and the Brenthouse Road Residents Association who (in spite of 200 residents objections) failed to stop consent being granted in July 2009 to a 10 storey tower on the corner of Lyme Grove and Loddiges Road overlooking St.Thomas’s Square.

The following campaigns are still ongoing and also need your support:

The Queens Market Campaign in Newham

www.friendsofqueensmarket.org.uk

Campaigning to save London’s most ethnically diverse market from municipal neglect and a property developer.

Fight the Height in Walthamstow

www.fighttheheight.co.uk

Campaigning against tower block plans in Walthamstow.

Save Shoreditch

www.saveshoreditch.com

194 Pitfield Street, N1

spbs@blueyonder.co.uk

Residents campaigning against the proposed development of 194 Pitfield Street N1

Let us know if you have an ongoing campaign in the area that we can add to this list!
